Rock Garden Group meetings are held in the Society’s hall at 100 Hilton Rd, Sassafras usually (but not always) on the first Saturday of most months at 2:00pm.

Open to all members of the society, the Rock Garden Group has a more in-depth focus towards flowering plants ranging from alpine, small herbaceous, bulbs to small shrubs. The meetings can take the form of specialist presentations, garden visits, travelogues and occasional hands-on activities. For members wishing to develop even greater knowledge and skills, they can become involved in maintaining the society’s rock gardens and the propagation of plants.
